Trivia Night Upset – and a Lesson on “Gambling”!

After three straight years of trivia dominance under names like Mitch’s Britches, Mitch’s team returned to the 25+ Tent last night determined to keep their crown. And for most of the evening, they did—leading by a clear margin.

Then came the final round twist: teams could wager up to 10 points on the outcome of a snail race video—six snails, a mere 16% chance to double their bet, although Mitch’s team didn’t wager anything. Almost every team went all in … and almost every team lost their 10 points—the equivalent of an entire round!

The 2025 champions, collecting their Baenana vouchers, turned to Mitch’s crew with a grin and declared:

“Gambling is bad!”
