Getting off the Emotional Rollercoaster

September 16 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

GETTING OFF THE EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER

PRESENTER: Jenifer Skues – Christian & Health Psychologist

We were created with a brain that is programmed with emotions.

If we didn’t have feelings then we couldn’t experience the joy of our relationship with God and with others.

I have met many people suffering from stress and trauma that has resulted in negative emotions and a daily spiritual battle.

SO . . . . . .

  • How can we get off that emotional rollercoaster?
  • How does the emotional brain that God has given us really work?
  • How can we work smart with our brain to have and maintain emotional balance?

The good news is that scientific research has found when the brain understands how it works it works lot smarter. You can rewire the thinking brain and the emotional brain so you can deal with those pesky feelings and experience mental, emotional, physical and spiritual balance in your daily lives. This means you can truly live and enjoy one day at a time with God, even when we have stress and trauma in your lives.

I’ve been practicing what I preach over a long period of time so know how powerful it is to rewire the brain and be able to deal with those pesky feelings that negatively affect yourself and other people in your life. My quality of life, especially my relationship with God and other important people in my life is a testimony to the power of changing your emotional brain. It’s easier than you think!
