SUMMARY:Sanctuary Message (Exodus 40) - Exploring Some Adventist Beliefs - Zeny Vidacak
DESCRIPTION:We’ll be covering Exodus 40\, one of the most pivotal chapters in Jewish history. \n\nThis was the day the Sanctuary was consecrated and its service set in motion — a service that would continue for millennia\, with the Jewish calendar’s most important dates coming to revolve around the Sanctuary\, each one a reminder of Israel’s sacred history.\nIt was also the day Aaron and his sons were consecrated for the priestly ministry\, entering a lasting covenant in which Levites as well as the whole nation were called to become a kingdom of priests unto God.\nAnd it was the day every piece of furniture in the Sanctuary was consecrated — though one item\, above all the rest\, was set apart as most holy.\n\nSo why does this chapter matter for us today\, as Christian Adventists? \nPr Zeny Vidacak – BIO \nZeny Vidacak \nPr Zeny Vidacak grew up in Bosnia\, and at just fifteen years old\, left home to join an Adventist seminary in Marusevec\, Croatia — spending seven wonderful years there in high school and theological training (1980–1987). From there he left what was then Yugoslavia to study at Newbold College in England (1988–1994)\, completing a double major in Theology and English Literature\, followed by a Master’s degree in Old Testament studies. \nWhile he was away\, war broke out in his homeland (1991–1997)\, and the Yugoslavia he had grown up in fractured into six new nations amid the bloodshed of the Balkan conflict. Then\, providentially\, in 1995 God opened a door for him on the other side of the world: a pastoral position in Australia. \nFor the past 30 years\, Pastor Zeny has served Brisbane churches — Springwood\, Garden City\, Summit\, Salisbury\, Eight Mile Plains\, and Mt Gravatt. His longest tenure has been at Mt Gravatt\, where he has now pastored for fifteen years. \nPr Zeny’s passion is Jesus and His amazing gospel\, and his greatest joy is preaching and teaching it. He is married to Svetlana\, the love of his life\, and together they have three children — Benjamin\, Samuel\, and Heidi. Outside of ministry\, he enjoys table tennis at the Brisbane Table Tennis Club and Sunday bike rides with fellow cycling enthusiasts.

SUMMARY:Exploring Some Adventist Beliefs - The Uncompromising Gospel (Galatians 2) - Zeny Vidacak
DESCRIPTION:The Uncompromising Gospel (Galatians 2) \nEvery Christian denomination is in danger of compromising the gospel of Jesus — claiming that its own distinctive beliefs are a vital addition to it\, and therefore vital for salvation. This isn’t a new temptation. Many Jewish Christians in the first-century church genuinely believed in Jesus as their Saviour\, but they also believed that circumcision needed to be added for salvation. \nTheir formula ran: \n\nbelieve in Jesus your Saviour\,\nkeep the law as best you can — including circumcision —\nand then you will be saved.\n\nPaul vehemently disagreed. What implication does this have for us as Adventists?

SUMMARY:Exploring Some Adventist Beliefs - The Three in One - God's Identity (Matthew 28:16-20) - Zeny Vidacak

SUMMARY:Spirit Led Small Groups Through Scripture - Pr Benjamin Turner
DESCRIPTION:Hearing the Holy Spirit Through Scripture Together\nWhat would happen if the people in your small group began discovering deep biblical insights for themselves—not because someone told them what to think\, but because they learned how to listen carefully to Scripture and recognise the Holy Spirit speaking through God’s Word? \nThis practical and interactive workshop will introduce an approach to small-group Bible study that is strongly grounded in Scripture\, deeply personal\, and simple enough for anyone to participate in. It is designed for small-group leaders\, ministry teams\, Bible study groups\, and anyone who longs to see people engage with the Bible in a more meaningful and life-changing way. \nRather than relying upon a gifted teacher to provide all the answers\, participants learn how to explore the biblical text for themselves. They begin noticing truths they may have read past many times before\, understanding how those truths connect with their own lives\, and responding personally to what God is showing them. \nDuring the workshop\, we will not simply talk about hearing the Holy Spirit—we will demonstrate it. Together\, we will open Scripture\, interact with the passage both individually and as a group\, and create space for the Holy Spirit to bring its message home to each person. You will experience how one passage can speak personally to different people while remaining firmly anchored in what the Bible actually says. \nYou will also see how this approach can transform the atmosphere of a small group. Instead of a lecture where only one person contributes\, everyone is invited to search\, discover\, share\, and grow. Even those who feel inexperienced or unsure about studying the Bible can begin finding genuine insights for themselves. \nCome prepared to participate\, to listen\, and perhaps to see a familiar passage in a way you have never seen it before. You will leave better equipped to help your group hear God through His Word\, respond to the Holy Spirit personally\, and discover that Scripture is living\, relevant\, and capable of changing lives. \nAbout the Presenter – Pr Benjamin Turner \nPr Benjamin Turner and his wife Naomi \n
