A Life Connected – When Prayer Gets Real – Mel Burrett

September 25 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Praying With and For Others

Whether the answer is “yes,” “no,” or “wait,” prayer invites us into an enduring relationship with God. The series concludes by looking at what we’ve learnt over the week and exploring simple, sustainable rhythms of prayer that can carry us through gratitude, disappointment, uncertainty and everyday life, long after Big Camp has ended.

When Prayer Gets Real –  Mel Burrett

Every prayer has a story. Every story invites us to discover something about God.

When Prayer Gets Real is a five-day series of honest, interactive conversations for adults navigating the joys, questions, disappointments, and everyday realities of prayer. Together, we will bring real-world stories into conversation with biblical truth, making room for faith, doubt, breakthrough, silence, waiting, and the many seasons in between.

Rather than offering formulas, these workshops explore prayer as a relationship in which we can experience being known by God, speak truthfully, carry one another’s burdens and grow in understanding and trust through shared experiences. Whether your experience of prayer includes remarkable answers, long seasons of waiting, unanswered questions or a mixture of all of these and more, there is a place for you in the conversation. Through the stories shared by our guest speakers, you may recognise part of your own experience and be blessed by what we discover together

Come ready to listen, reflect, ask honest questions, and take another step towards a deeper connection with God and one another.
