What is Big Camp?
Big camp is a spiritual convention on overload. Youth and Teens daily are given the option to use their energy on beach days, Wet'n"Wild or dreamword, then come back to camp for a life-changine spiritual message.
Children have the time of their lives learning about Bible characters, doing amazing crafts and mixing with other children in a safe environment.
Adults have morning worship, training workshops, and evening programs.

Welcome to Big Camp 2024. Camp is the biggest event on our South Queensland church calendar. For many it’s a highlight of their year, something they anticipate eagerly as it comes around again. We are blessed with the venue, the personnel, and the financial resources to make it all happen. It takes a huge team of both employees and volunteers to pull it together. Our Watson Park team are integral to that, and we thank everyone involved in making Camp the special event that it is.
We worship a faithful God. And God is always faithful – that constancy fits the definition of the word faithful. In contrast, faithfulness for us can be a growing experience. On our journey with God we don’t always understand His ways or His word, nor what our next step should be. The men and women of faith in scripture were no different, wavering, tripping and stumbling as they walked this up and down road of discipleship. But God remained faithful, calling them, and us, into a committed relationship with Him, encouraging faithfulness in response to His love. My prayer is that this Camp meeting we will see a clear picture of a faithful God, and that we will be inspired to live a life of faithfulness to Him. On behalf of the South Queensland Conference team, I’m delighted to welcome you to Big Camp 2024, and I know that you will be blessed as you worship and fellowship with people from around our Conference.
