Hearing the Holy Spirit Through Scripture Together

What would happen if the people in your small group began discovering deep biblical insights for themselves—not because someone told them what to think, but because they learned how to listen carefully to Scripture and recognise the Holy Spirit speaking through God’s Word?

This practical and interactive workshop will introduce an approach to small-group Bible study that is strongly grounded in Scripture, deeply personal, and simple enough for anyone to participate in. It is designed for small-group leaders, ministry teams, Bible study groups, and anyone who longs to see people engage with the Bible in a more meaningful and life-changing way.

Rather than relying upon a gifted teacher to provide all the answers, participants learn how to explore the biblical text for themselves. They begin noticing truths they may have read past many times before, understanding how those truths connect with their own lives, and responding personally to what God is showing them.

During the workshop, we will not simply talk about hearing the Holy Spirit—we will demonstrate it. Together, we will open Scripture, interact with the passage both individually and as a group, and create space for the Holy Spirit to bring its message home to each person. You will experience how one passage can speak personally to different people while remaining firmly anchored in what the Bible actually says.
