1 in 6 Australians are affected by hearing loss and the age range is lower than you may think. Many are in the working age of 16-64yrs of age.
The Family Big Tent will be trialling assistive listening technology for the hard of hearing. Listen Everywhere will be available for those with a smart phone. Connection instructions will be provided at camp. We suggest you download the free Listen Everywhere app prior to camp. It is available free on your App store .
Did you know there are approximately 30,000 Deaf Auslan users with total hearing loss.
An Auslan interpreter will be present in the Family Big Tent for both Sabbath School & Church the first and second weekend of camp. The interpreter will also be included on the livestream via the Living Media Ministry website.
Additionally, an Auslan workshop series will be run on the Monday, Wednesday & Thursday.
